Thomas’s practice includes employment law and traditional labor law. Thomas represents employees in work-related matters including minimum wage and overtime claims, discrimination claims, and contract disputes. Thomas’s practice includes pursuing such claims in state and federal court, in private arbitration, in administrative agency proceedings, and in settlement negotiations. In his employment practice, Thomas has successfully represented numerous employees in the restaurant industry, building services and construction industry, and in academia. Thomas also practices traditional labor law, representing unions and labor-management funds. Thomas has represented unions in contract negotiations, unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, and in civil litigation.

Thomas is a graduate of New York University School of Law. At NYU School of Law, Thomas served as Managing Editor for the New York University Environmental Law Journal. Thomas received his undergraduate education at the University of Florida, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in finance and cum laude with a BA in philosophy.

Thomas is fluent in Spanish.
